The rules now cover late Dark Ages as well as Feudal Europe, the Crusades and The Hundred Years War. The Wars of The Roses are planned as a free download after the release of the basic rules. Game scale has been raised a level from 100 man units of three stands to 200 to 400 man units of one stand.

Smaller actions are the name of the game. Emphasis is now on the unit not on the stand.

The focus is still if not even more so on you role playing the Warlord from game to game collecting your Honor Points.

The rules work well for solo, one on one and multi-player.

Domains (armies) use a system called the Lance which is modeled after Charlemagne’s Lance. No more ponderous army lists. You have little control over who shows up when you summon your army. You must rely on retinue troops, promotions and mercenaries to give you some better troops.
